Quickstart
Make your first authenticated call against the sandbox in a few minutes.
Everything below runs against sandbox credentials, so nothing you do here moves money.
1. Get keys
API access is granted per business. In the Suite open Developer → Request API access, complete the intake questionnaire and sign the agreement pack. Sandbox keys (bp_test_) are issued once the minimum checks pass; live keys (bp_live_) follow full approval.
2. Call the API

GET /v1/me describes the calling credential: the business it belongs to, its environment, and the scopes and products it is allowed to touch. It is the fastest way to confirm a key works.
3. Read a balance

Amounts are decimal strings, never floats. Parse them with a decimal library.
4. Go further
- Take a payment with a checkout session
- Issue a virtual account so a customer can pay by bank transfer
- Send a payout or book a conversion
- Subscribe to webhooks so your system learns about money as it lands
